I began preaching as a teenager and have “benpreachin” ever since. For my undergraduate education, I attended the University of Oklahoma. Upon graduating from college with a B.S. in Astrophysics, I began full-time work as a minister.
Currently, I am very happy to work with the Glenpool Church of Christ in Glenpool, OK, a growing congregation with a great heart. I am also the director of the “Faith Week” session at Frog Road Christian Camp near Lake Keystone. It is the camp I attended as a child, the place where I met my wife, and my favorite week of every year.
I am blessed to be married to my heart’s love, Selene (formerly McKnight), and together we raise and sometimes are raised by our sons, Lucas and Calvin. We live in the Tulsa area and really enjoy all that Green Country has to offer.
As of December 2015, I have finally finished my Master of Divinity at Oklahoma Christian’s Graduate School of Theology. It has been a wild journey, but well worth it. Much of what I write on this blog comes from my experiences and education there, combined with a life of experiences and great role models. If you like what you see here, you have all of them to thank (or blame).
